JUNCTION CITY, Ga. (WTVM) - Two people from Mauk were arrested this week in connection with the theft of a heavy front loader tractor valued at more than $100,000.
Talbot County deputies responded to Junction City on Sunday in reference to the stolen equipment. The tractor was recovered the same day in Taylor County.
Through a multi-agency investigation, two individuals were arrested on June 10 and June 11.
The Talbot County Sheriff’s Office thanked the Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Sheriff’s Office and the Georgia Bureau of Investigation for assistance throughout the investigation.
The sheriff’s office asked citizens to report suspicious activity.
