HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. (WTVM) - The Harris County School District is offering free meals to kids and teens 18 and younger through its seamless summer feeding program.

Kids can eat inside Harris County High School’s cafeteria Monday through Thursday until June 26. Breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 8:15 a.m. and lunch is from 10 a.m. to noon.

Parents can pick up seven-day breakfast and lunch meals at Park Elementary School on Mondays only until June 22 from 10 a.m. to noon.

“Well, this program is important because we won’t ensure that our students are not only just getting those nutritious meals that they need but they’re able to get those meals to help them with their growth and their progressiveness,” said Shelia Baker, assistant superintendent of support services for Harris County School District.
