COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Valentine’s Day turned into a six‑figure celebration for one Columbus lottery player.
A Fantasy 5 ticket worth $213,618 was sold at Citgo at 1431 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., according to Georgia Lottery officials. The winner matched all five numbers in the Feb. 14 drawing to claim the jackpot.
The big win also means a payday for the retailer: the store will pick up a $5,000 bonus for selling the jackpot ticket, according to the Georgia Lottery website.
Fantasy™ 5 is a Georgia‑exclusive jackpot game that starts at $125,000 and players can participate at retailers statewide or online.
