COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - The Muscogee County School District says Hardaway High School Principal Maurdrice McNeill is on administrative leave following what the district’s spokesperson called a non-school related charge of misdemeanor criminal trespass.
The district says McNeill will remain on leave until the investigation is complete.
In a statement, MCSD stressed that a charge does not constitute guilt.
According to the Muscogee County School System’s website, this year was Mr. McNeill’s third year as Principal at Hardaway High. He served two years as an assistant principal at Hardaway before becoming the Principal for the 2022-2023 school year.
