The owner and President/CEO of Sagamore Hill Broadcasting, Louis Wall, shared a statement regarding Bill’s passing:

“It is a sad day for us at WLTZ but we have many fond memories to take with us.

First and foremost, Bill was a people person.  He loved people and the people

he worked with every day.

For those of us in the tv biz, he was always trying to find a way to make the

station more successful and never shied away from new ideas.  Jim Doyle,

the broadcast sales trainer often said, “When it came to television sales,

Bill was a rock star.

Always positive, Bill worked in markets from Georgia to California and you

could tell he deeply loved and appreciated what he did. The WLTZ family is sincerely

going to miss him."
