Phenix City, Ala. (WTVM) - Central Freshman Academy and Meadowlane Elementary School have officially recognized as State Schools of Character by Character.org, a national organization committed to fostering character development in schools and communities.
This award goes to schools that demonstrate an unwavering commitment to cultivating a culture grounded in values like respect, responsibility, and integrity.
As State Schools of Character, Central Freshman Academy and Meadowlane Elementary now advance to the next round of evaluation to be considered as National Schools of Character, the highest recognition offered by the organization.
To honor this achievement, Phenix City Schools will host a celebration at each campus.
- Central Freshman Academy (2800 Dobbs Drive) will be on Friday, April 25 at 1:30 p.m.
- Meadowlane Elementary (709 Meadowlane Drive) will be on Thursday, May 8 at 1:00 p.m.
