Columbus State University to host annual dance marathon Columbus State University students are set to host their annual Cougarthon dance marathon for children in need.

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Prepare to dance all night long, literally!

The Columbus State University students will host their annual Cougarthon dance marathon for children in need. All proceeds will go to the Bill and Olivia Amos Children’s Hospital , west Georgia and east Alabama’s Children’s Miracle Network hospital.

Attendees can expect remarks from Piedmont Columbus Regional hospital and foundation staff, Miracle Family patient testimonials, dance lessons, fun games and a midnight dodge-ball tournament.

The event will take place on Thursday March 6 from 7 p.m. - 1a.m. at the Columbus State University’s Student Recreation Center - 4225 University Avenue in Columbus.

The Cougarthon, raised over $9,000 last year.
