COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - For years, many Columbus residents have eagerly awaited the arrival of a popular entertainment venue, and it seems their wish may come true.
Dave & Buster’s has submitted permits for a proposed location at 5700 Whittlesey Boulevard, according to the city’s building inspections and code enforcement department. This site is in the same area where the SONS Chevrolet dealership will relocate to within the Columbus Park Crossing development.
The chain is widely known for its locations including a full-service restaurant, bar and video arcade.
The city received a site development permit application for Dave & Buster’s in December, followed by a building permit application this month. However, city officials noted that neither application has been approved yet.
“Dave & Buster’s is excited to be joining the Columbus, GA community,” a company spokesperson said. “Details on construction timing are not immediately available.”
