AUBURN, Ala. (WTVM) - Smalls Sliders, a fast-growing cheeseburger slider chain, is just days away from opening its first Alabama location in Auburn.
The mini burger chain will open on Dec. 27, a company spokesperson confirms. It’s located at 1251 Opelika Road, on the site of the former Bombay Grill.
In addition to cooked-to-order sliders, the restaurant will serve fries and shakes from its modular shipping container, known as a “can,” which includes a drive-thru and a walk-up window.
“You may be wondering…what’s all the excitement for Smalls Sliders about? Well, the wait is over because our iconic Smorange Can is now open in Auburn,” shared Mark Weeks, Auburn Smalls Sliders franchisee. “We are excited to become a place where the community gathers and enjoys delicious sliders, shakes and fries.”
Smalls Sliders was founded in 2019 by Brandy Landry, the creator of Walk-On’s Sports Bistreaux.
A grand opening celebration is planned for Jan. 11.
