COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Polls have officially closed in Georgia and Alabama.

There are several key races we are following:

Georgia

• AP projects Sanford Bishop as winner
• Chattahoochee Judicial Circuit District Attorney
• Muscogee County Sheriff
• Greg Countryman wins second term

Alabama

• Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District
• Chambers County School District Superintendent

“It’s been steady all day. No problems. As of 4:10 (p.m.), 14,704 have voted today. Not including early or absentee by mail,” said Muscogee County Director of Elections and Registration Nancy Boren.
