CHAMBERS COUNTY, Ala. (WTVM) - Dr. Sharon Weldon has won the superintendent position for the Chambers County School District.
Republican Dr. Sharon Weldon has over 25 years of experience with Chambers County Schools and ran on the platform of S.U.P.E.R, which stands for Students, Unity, Professionals, Excellence, and Respect. Weldon says shes eager to focus on student achievement and meeting the needs of students and teachers. Weldon spoke with News Leader 9′s Justin Brown about her plans as the new Chambers County School District Superintendent.
“I’m excited that I got that percentage of votes because to me that says that I got a lot of people behind me a lot of people that trust me to do great things for Chambers County Schools” said Weldon.
