HOUSE BUDGET COMMITTEE ADVANCES PRES. BIDEN'S COVID RELIEF BILL TO THE FULL HOUSE FOR A VOTE

(CNN) – President Biden’s $1.9 trillion COVID relief bill will go before the full House for a vote.

The House Budget Committee voted to advance the legislation Monday.

The package includes $1,400 checks to Americans making less than 75,000 dollars a year, an increase in the child tax credit,
aide to small businesses, more money for vaccine distribution, and direct funding to state and local governments.

One Democrat joined republicans in voting against the relief package.

The bill could go to the House floor for a vote later this week.
