USPS Pauses Services Due To Winter Storm

USPS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDS SERVICES IN PARTS OF THE SOUTH BECAUSE OF WINTER STORM AND POWER OUTAGES

(CNN) – The Postal Service is struggling to get the job done in some areas.

A strong bout of snow has caused the USPS to temporarily suspend services in parts of the south.

The region is dealing with the aftermath of a winter storm and Texas is preparing for another storm this week.

Communities are also dealing with rolling power outages.

On its website, the Post Office says its services have been temporarily suspended for parts of Dallas, Fort Worth, and Houston.

That means no in-office drop-offs, no pick-ups, and no deliveries.

At one point, the USPS also suspended services in parts of Alabama and Mississippi.

Those have since been restored.
