Michael Jordan Donates $10 Million To Open More Medical Clinics
NBA LEGEND MICHAEL JORDAN DONATES $10 MILLION TO OPEN TWO HEALTH CARE CLINICS NEAR HIS HOMETOWN
(CNN) – Michael Jordan is donating $10 million to open medical clinics in North Carolina.
The basketball legend is working with Novant Health to open two facilities near Wilmington, close to his hometown.
Jordan says it is gratifying to give back to his community.
Novant Health says the gift will help open more clinics in rural communities in order to provide services to those who are uninsured or underinsured.
In 2017, Jordan donated $7 million to open two “Novant Health Michael Jordan family clinics” in Charlotte.
The two new Wilmington clinics are scheduled to open early next year.
