Capitol Riots: Army Reservist With Security Clearance Charged

FEDERAL INVESTIGATORS HAVE CHARGED AN ARMY RESERVIST IN CONNECTION TO THE JANUARY 6TH CAPITOL SIEGE IN D.C.

(CNN) – Almost two weeks after the U.S. Capitol in D.C. was under siege.

Federal investigators are rounding up those responsible and charging them with a crime.

On Sunday, they charged Army reservist Timothy Hale-Cusanelli.

Investigators say Hale-Cusanelli has secret-level security clearance and has a long history of posting extremist views online.

They say he was described by an informant as being “an avowed white supremacist and Nazi sympathizer.”

During a phone call with the informant; Hale-Cusanelli can be heard saying that he encouraged members of the mob to “advance” through the Capitol.

No word yet if he has been arrested.

Investigators also charged Emily Hernandez, the woman who allegedly stole the Pelosi placard.

Is not clear if she is in custody right now.

We do know that the mother of the man who was carrying zip ties in the building, Lisa Eisenhart was arrested Saturday.

According to the Justice Department, she is being charged with breaking into the capitol and disorderly conduct
