TSA Promises Heightened Security At DC Airports
TSA SAYS THERE WILL BE ADDITIONAL LAW ENFORCEMENT PRESENCE AT WASHINGTON'S THREE AIRPORTS LEADING UP TO INAUGURATION DAY
(CNN) – The Transportation Security Administration is on high alert at Washington’s three airports leading up to Inauguration Day.
TSA says there will be additional law enforcement and canine presence at Reagan National, Washington Dulles, and BWI Thurgood Marshall airports.
This comes amid threats of violence ahead of president-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration on January 20th.
Security has been heightened since last week’s attack on the capitol.
At Reagan National Airport, CNN has observed Capitol police and tactical armored police vehicles, which is considered rare at the airport.
