Taylor Swift Ties Michael Jackson Billboard Record
TAYLOR SWIFT TIES WITH MICHAEL JACKSON FOR THE FOURTH-MOST CONSECUTIVE WEEKS ON THE BILLBOARD 200 ALBUMS CHART
(CNN) – Taylor Swift dropped two new songs last week. One titled, “It’s Time To Go.”
But it looks like the singer is not taking her own advice when it comes to the Billboard charts.
Swift’s latest album “Evermore” returned to number one on the Billboard 200 chart for a third non-consecutive week, giving her a total of 51 weeks at number one across all eight of her chart-toping albums.
That means the pop star has now tied Michael Jackson for the fourth-most weeks at number one on the charts.
The Beatles hold the first place title with a record 132 weeks, followed by Elvis Presley with 67 and Garth Brooks coming in third with 52 weeks at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart.
