Johnson & Johnson To Determine If COVID Vaccine Is In Works

JOHNSON & JOHNSON REPORTS ITS JANSSEN COVID-19 VACCINE TRIAL IS STILL ON TRACK AND COLLECTING DATA

(CNN) – Johnson & Johnson says its coronavirus vaccine trial is still on track.

The company says it should have enough data soon to determine if its Janssen COVID-19 vaccine is safe and provides protection against the novel coronavirus.

The Janssen vaccine is a single dose shot unlike those made by Moderna and Pfizer/Biontech.

Johnson & Johnson is aiming to have its data “toward the end of January.”

It hopes to submit an emergency use authorization application to the US Food and Drug Administration in February.
