NFL Players, Lowe’s Donate $1M In Christmas Trees
NFL ATHLETES AND LOWE'S ARE DONATING $1 MILLION IN CHRISTMAS TREES TO NEEDY FAMILIES
(CNN) – Lowes and the NFL are teaming up to spread a little holiday cheer.
On “Giving Tuesday”, they announced a plan to donate $1 million worth of pre-lit Christmas trees to families and organizations impacted by the pandemic.
Over the next two weeks, more than 13,000 Christmas trees will be delivered.
Some of the trees will be sent directly to homes, first responder stations, nonprofit housing organizations along with childcare and youth centers.
Dak Prescott, Adam Thielen and Jared Goff are among the NFL players working to donate trees within their local communities.
More NFL players plan to give back to their hometowns by hosting drive-thru events and sending video messages to families.
