Kobe Bryant Hall Of Fame Induction Postponed
THE LATE KOBE BRYANT WILL BE INDUCTED INTO THE BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME DURING A 2021 CEREMONY
(CNN) – Kobe Bryant is set to be inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame next year.
Over the weekend the National Basketball Association revealed the ceremony, which was originally scheduled for August will now be held in May due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The late basketball star died in a California helicopter crash in January at the age of 41.
Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, was among the other victims of the accident.
In addition to Bryant, other 2020 inductees include Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett.
