Ghislaine Maxwell Gets Breathing Checks In Jail

FORMER GIRLFRIEND OF JEFFREY EPSTEIN SAYS SHE IS CONSTANTLY WOKEN UP WHILE INCARCERATED

(CNN) – An attorney for the former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein has filed a complaint about her treatment while incarcerated.

Ghislaine Maxwell is accused of grooming and abusing underage girls.

The 58-year-old is awaiting trial at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn.

A letter filed by her attorney Tuesday says Maxwell is woken up every 15 minutes with a flashlight to see if she’s alive.

Her attorney says she is “excessively and invasively searched” and monitored 24 hours per day.

They’re asking a judge to order the warden to address the alleged conditions.

The stepped up security follows Jeffrey Epstein’s death last summer.

He was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges at a different federal facility.

His death was ruled a suicide.
