White House Discussing Possible Pardon For Michael Flynn

SOURCES SAY THE WHITE HOUSE HAS DISCUSSED PARDONING PRESIDENT TRUMP'S FORMER NATIONAL SECURITY ADVISER MICHAEL FLYNN

(CNN) – Sources tell CNN the White House has discussed a possible pardon for Michael Flynn.

President Trump’s first National Security Adviser pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI, but later tried to disavow that plea.

His case has been tied up in legal limbo and has avoided being sentenced.

The sources say the president could change his mind about Flynn.

They also say the White House is discussing presidential pardons for multiple people in Trump’s orbit.

Throughout his presidency, Trump has granted pardons at the urging of friends, Fox news personalities, and Hollywood celebrities.

Earlier this year, the president commuted the sentence of his longtime confidant Roger Stone.
