Russia: Putin Says Too Early To Acknowledge Biden’s Win
KREMLIN SAYS IT IS TILL TOO EARLY TO ACKNOWLEDGE US PRESIDENT-ELECT JOE BIDEN'S US ELECTION WIN
(CNN) – A Kremlin spokesperson says Russia will accept the U.S. election results after all lawsuits are completed and Donald Trump concedes.
It comes after the spokesperson was asked why Russian president Vladimir Putin had not yet congratulated president-elect Joe Biden.
On Sunday, Russian state news agency, TASS reported that Putin said he is ready to work with any U.S. leader.
In an interview with Channel 1 Russia, Putin said he wasn’t concerned in the delay in sending his well-wishes, as relations between Moscow and Washington are “already spoiled.”
