U.S. Surpasses 250K Reported COVID Deaths
MORE THAN TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY THOUSAND PEOPLE HAVE LOST THEIR LIVES TO COVID IN THE UNITED STATES
(CNN) – As the promise of a coronavirus vaccine brings hope; the disease is showing no signs of slowing down.
On Tuesday, the United States reached a grim milestone.
More than 250,000 people died.
That’s according to Johns Hopkins University.
The first death was reported in February, in Washington state.
Just a few months later, in May a 100,000 had died.
Right now, there are more than 11 million confirmed positive cases in the country.
