Warm And Showery, Veterans Day Forecast

Happy Veterans Day!!

Off and on rain showers will move through the area as a cold front will approach us from the west. This front will provide some additional lift across our area to give us enhanced chances for rain most of the day. Not expecting any severe weather  but an isolated thunderstorm is possible today, especially for our southern counties. The unseasonably warm and muggy conditions will continue this Veteran’s Day, with highs in upper 70s to low 80s across the area. Patchy dense fog and a couple rain showers are possible this evening. Hurricane Eta (recently upgraded) will slowly move toward the northeast and make landfall  just north of Tampa, on Thursday morning. Currently, only expecting minimal effects across our area in the form of more cloud cover and a couple rain showers. Take an umbrella with you today for any outside activities but don’t cancel any events. Expect a cool down later in the extended forecast.
