Breezy With Isolated To Scattered Rain Showers Today
Warm “spring like” conditions will continue across the area today. Isolated to scattered rain showers will also form mainly in the afternoon hours and move east to west. Above average temperatures are expected again with highs approaching or topping 80 degrees in many areas; and low temperatures will average the upper 60s and low 70s. Where did fall go??? The tropics will remain very active as Tropical Storm Eta slowly drifts northward in the Gulf of Mexico, sending plenty of moisture into our area; and newly formed Subtropical Storm Theta has formed over the far east Atlantic Ocean. This breaks the hurricane record for the most named storms in a season at 29. Enjoy the warm and breezy conditions.
