Game of the Week: Harris County Hosts Northside

NORTHSIDE LOOKS TO CARRY MOMENTUM INTO NEXT SEASON, WHILE HARRIS COUNTY LOOKS TO TAKE ANOTHER STEO TOWARDS A PLAYOFF BIRTH

The Nortside Patriots find themselves in a new region this after moving up from 4A to 5A. They’ve only picked up one win in region 2-AAAAA. They’re looking to carry some momentum into next year with sophomore running back Malchi Hosley.

The Harris County defense will look to contain Northside’s ground game. They’ve only given up an average of 17 points a game. Adding pressure to this crucial region game is the rivalry between these two teams.

“They look forward to playing Northside, it is a little bit of rivalry game. I think they’ll be ready to go,” said Harris County head coach, Jamie Fox.

“A lot of our players are friends with kids that go to Harris County,” said Northside head coach, Andrew Oropeza. “There’s a lot of familiarity with players and coaches.”

Kickoff is set for 7:30pm Eastern on Friday at Tiger Stadium-Durham Field.
