A Frosty Start to Tuesday

Cold and dry air continues to filter into the region. This will bring tonight’s temperatures down into the mid 30s (if not colder) in spots. There will be a FROST ADVISORY in effect for a majority of our viewing area through tomorrow morning. The humidity is also very pleasant with dew points in the 20s and 30s due to the extremely dry air blanketing the area.

We’ll continue to enjoy cooler than normal temperatures at least one more day before those highs and lows start to rebound by the middle of the week and get back to around seasonal. If you’re wondering where we should be for this time of the season, highs should be around 73 and lows around 50 here in Columbus.

The weather will stay dry through Saturday before rain chances try to creep back in by Sunday possibly due to what direction Hurricane Eta decides to steer toward. We could at least receive a good bit of tropical moisture from it increasing the humidity to uncomfortable levels.
