Instagram Lets Anyone Go Live For Up To 4 Hours
INSTAGRAM IS LETTING USERS LIVESTREAM UNINTERRUPTED FOR UP TO FOUR HOURS
(CNN) – During the pandemic many workout instructors, musicians, even cooks have turned to social media to connect with their community.
Now Instagram is helping them stay connected longer.
The platform is extending livestreams from one hour to four.
This change is for all users who are in good standing, with no history of intellectual property or policy violations.
The Facebook-owned site will also let you start saving your lives.
They will be kept in the archives for up to 30 days.
Since the pandemic started, the livestream function has been used more.
So Instagram is also adding a “live now” section on IGTV so users can see who is live at that moment.
