Travel Industry Crippled By Restrictions
INCREASING COVID-19 RESTRICTIONS ACROSS EUROPE ARE CRIPPLING THE INTERNATIONAL TRAVEL INDUSTRY
(CNN) – The increasing COVID-19 restrictions across Europe are crippling the international travel industry.
There are no coordinated policies on quarantine, on testing and tracing on travel.
However, not many people are traveling.
More than half of the 330-million jobs in the travel and tourism industry are forecast to be lost by the end of the year.
And we can expect a GDP loss of $5.5 trillion.
