Jay-Z Launches Cannabis Line Called Monogram
JAY-Z LAUNCHES HIS VERY OWN CANNABIS LINE CALLED MONOGRAM
(CNN) – At one point in his life, Jay-Z admits to being an illegal drug dealer now, he’s returning to those roots to go legit.
With medical marijuana legal in several states, Jay-Z is launching is own cannabis line as of Friday; it’s called monogram.
It’s a collaboration with California-based Caliva, a cannabis company where Jay-Z has been serving as chief brand strategist since 2019.
There’s no word yet on what will differentiate Jay-Z’s monogram marijuana in the market place.
The rapper, whose real name is Shawn Carter, dropped a playlist entitled Monogram: Sounds From The Grow Room on tidal this week.
It may not be surprising to hear the streaming selections feature a lot of Bob Marley.
Meanwhile, some other famous names that have taken a hit at the weed industry include Snoop Dogg, Whoopi Goldberg and even Martha Stewart.
