Peloton Recalls Pedals After Injuries

PELOTON RECALLS PEDALS ON 27,000 BIKES AFTER REPORTS OF INJURIES

(CNN) – If you are one of the many people exercising on a Peloton during the pandemic, listen up.

The company has voluntarily recalled clip-in pedals on 27,000 of the spin bikes due to a risk of injury.

There have been more than a hundred reports of the pedals breaking.

And reports of more than a dozen injuries.

The recall applies only to first-generation pedals PR70P.

That type of pedal was sold between July 2013 and May 2016.

Peloton says to stop using bikes with that type of pedal and get a replacement from the company.

You can check the Peloton website for more information on how to do that.
