(CNN) – Next year Starbucks will begin linking executive pay within its ranks to diversity targets.
The coffee giant hopes that tying pay to inclusion initiatives will increase diversity within its ranks.
Starbucks didn’t give specifics on exactly how executive pay will be impacted, but it did lay out diversity goals.
The company wants to have 30% black, indigenous, and people of color employees at the corporate level by 2025.
In retail and manufacturing, the goal is 40% within that same time-frame.
