Last Day Of Above Average Temperatures
It’s the last day of above average temperatures. Similar to yesterday highs will top out in the low to middle 80s across our area; that’s about 8 degrees above normal. As the high pressure area moves into the Atlantic Ocean expect a return flow of moisture and some clouds off the Gulf of Mexico. Rain chances will remain very small with an isolated shower possible today to our south or east. Afterwards, a cold front will clear the area Friday morning setting the stage for a cool and dry weekend ahead. Highs will struggle to reach the lower 70s in some locations and lows will dip into the 40s.
