Atlanta Falcons Fire Head Coach And General Manager

ATLANTA FALCONS HEAD COACH DAN QUINN AND GM HAVE BEEN RELIEVED OF THEIR DUTIES, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

Atlanta, GA (WGCL) – The Atlanta Falcons have fired head coach Dan Quinn after five consecutive losses this season.

This was Quinn’s sixth year with the team, he won 43 games and lost 42.

He came close to leading the Falcon’s to a championship in 2016 but the team lost to the Patriots in overtime.

Meanwhile, the Falcons have also fired general manager Thomas Dimitroff, who had been with the team since 2008.

Falcons president and CEO Rick McKay will oversee the team’s football operations.

The Falcons plan to name an interim head coach on Monday.
