1981 Cold Case Linked To Serial Killer

A FAMILY NOW KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED TO A WOMAN WHO HAS BEEN MISSING SINCE THE 1980S

(CNN) – A young woman disappeared almost 40 years ago and now, her family is finally learning what happened to her.

When the FBI and Texas Rangers spoke with serial killer Samuel Little two years ago; Little confessed to more than 90 murders, including a black woman he took in Tennessee and killed in Georgia.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations now says her name is Patricia Parker, and she was 30 years old when little killed her.

Parker’s remains had been unidentified since 1981.

Last year, the GBI released a forensic reconstruction of Parker’s skull and asked the public to help identify her.

A family came forward and their DNA matched.

The FBI says Little is the most prolific serial killer in the U.S.

He was a nomadic drifter who traveled around the country since the 70s, strangling dozens of women.

Police arrested little in 2012 and he’s serving three life sentences.
