LaGrange Police Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia State Patrol Hosting Faith & Blue Event

The National Faith & Blue Weekend (NFBW) is scheduled for October 9th-12th. The purpose of NFBW Weekend is to create safer, more inclusive communities by connecting law enforcement officers and the residents they protect and serve through houses of worship. LaGrange Police will join other national law enforcement groups, the U.S. Department of Justice Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office) and MovementForward, Inc.’s One Congregation One Precinct (OneCOP) initiative in this national event.

This ceremony is free and open to the public.

Friday, October 9th at 9:00 a.m. area ministers are invited to participate in a free breakfast with the LaGrange Police Department, Troup County Sheriff’s Office and Georgia State Patrol at Confidence Missionary Baptist Church at 705 Colquitt Street in LaGrange.
