A Few Sprinkles Wednesday
Fall is officially underway! I hope you had a chance to get outdoors today and enjoy it.
Through Thursday, we’ll see highs in the mid to upper 70s, lows in the upper 50s to low 60s. We’ll start to see clouds build up a little bit more tomorrow, but only going with a slight chance of rain. The remnants of Beta will look to dump rain on our area Thursday and Friday and maybe even into Saturday. Rainfall totals will look to range between .5” to 2” with heavier amounts falling to our north-northwest. This could change depending on where Beta decides to go. An upper level ridge will push Beta northeastward and we should be clear of its effects by Sunday. Not expecting any severe weather, but a strong storm or two is possible Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures will be on the rise by Friday with highs trying to get back into the low 80s through the weekend and into early next week. Overnight lows will be in the mid to upper 60s across that same stretch. Sticky humidity also returns as dew points will creep back into the 60s and maybe 70s starting Thursday.
