Cooler, Drier Conditions Heading In
Hard to believe I’m saying this, but it’s the last weekend of Summer! Fall officially begins on Tuesday morning, but we’ll be enjoying fall weather starting this weekend.
Saturday and Sunday will see highs in the mid 70s. Expect mostly cloudy skies on Saturday with a slight chance of rain. Saturday night’s temperatures will slip to the upper 50s. On Sunday, we’ll enjoy lots of sunshine. Sunday night, we drop into the 50s. This looks to start a string of mornings where we’ll wake up in the mid to upper 50s… at least until the latter part of next week.
Next week’s highs will range in the mid to upper 70s. A dome of high pressure will keep the area nice and dry and also bring the humidity down with dew points in the 40s and 50s. It’s going to be quite nice!
We do need to keep an eye on the Gulf, as Tropical Storm Beta (yes, we are now into the Greek alphabet!) has formed. This could have some effect on our area late next week, but it’s still way too early to tell.
