SCOTUS To Continue Oral Arguments By Phone
THE SUPREME COURT WILL CONTINUE HEARING ORAL ARGUMENTS BY TELEPHONE
(CNN) – Did you know the Supreme Court hasn’t heard a case in person since early March?
And that’s not going to change anytime soon.
When the new term begins in October, the high court says it will continue hearing oral arguments by phone.
Audio will be available to the public.
Doing it this way is something the court put in place because of the pandemic and it says the decision to continue is keeping in line with current public health guidance on COVID-19.
No word yet on how November and December sessions will be conducted.
