Pringles Tests New Can After Dubbed Recycling Villain
PRINGLES IS TESTING A NEW CAN DESIGN AFTER A RECYCLING GROUP DUBBED IT THE 'NUMBER ONE RECYCLING VILLAIN'
(CNN) – Pringles is looking at changing its iconic packaging.
The potato crisps brand is testing out two new looks for the tall tube.
One is with a paper lid instead of plastic.
According to Kellogg’s, the company that owns the brand say both lids will be recyclable.
The move comes after a recycling group in the United Kingdom dubbed Pringles, the “number one recycling villain.”
Kellogg’s say the new Pringles’ cans will appear on shelves in stores in the UK starting Wednesday.
They expect their test to run for six weeks.
