CALIFORNIA INVESTIGATORS HAVE RELEASED ITS REPORT ON THE ACCIDENTAL DROWNING OF NAYA RIVERA
Los Angeles, CA (KCAL) – California officials are sharing more details about the drowning of Naya Rivera.
Ventura County has released its investigative report on the actress’ death.
Back in July; Rivera and her four-year-old son rented a boat and went for a swim in Lake Piru.
According to the report, shortly after getting into the water the actress told her son to get back on the boat.
Investigators state Rivera’s son told them that his mom helped him onto the boat; then yelled for help with her arms in the air.
She then disappeared into the water.
The medical examiner ruled Rivera’s death was an accidental drowning.
The report says Rivera had vertigo but was considered a good swimmer.
It also noted that she had been offered a life jacket but declined it.
Rivera was best known for her role on the TV show Glee; which aired from 2009 to 2015.
