Slight Chance for Rain Friday, Better Chance During Weekend
Abundant moisture remains in place on Friday through the weekend due to that deep easterly flow. The humidity cranks up again with dew points back into the mid 70s. Isolated to widely scattered showers will be possible through the weekend, as well. Instability will be limited, but a few strong storms could pop up during the afternoon/early evening hours.
Two cold fronts will stall before reaching our area, but the momentum will increase our chances for showers and storms during the weekend and early next week.
Daytime highs and nighttime lows will hover near or slightly above normal through the weekend. By the middle of next week, strong surface high across the New England states could bring cooler temperatures to our area by mid-week.
