FDA Recalling Potatoes, Citrus Over Listeria

THE FDA IS VOLUNTARILY RECALLING POTATOES, LEMONS, LIMES AND ORANGES MOSTLY FROM SOUTHERN STATES

(CNN) – Check your potatoes and fruit and their labels.

We have a recall to tell you about.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has announced that Freshouse II, LLC, is recalling its lemon, limes, Valencia oranges, and red B potatoes due to potential contamination with listeria monocytogenes.

These products were shipped to retailer distribution centers in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, and Virginia and wholesalers in Maryland and North Carolina.

So far, there have been no reported illnesses.
