Less Rain Coverage Expected Today
Less coverage of showers and thunderstorms are expected today as we lose some of the upper level lift and energy. Best rain chances will occur between 3 PM and 7 PM and of course a couple storms could become strong again or isolated severe. Expect higher rain chances and lower temperatures Thursday and Friday. Highs will reach the low to middle 90s in most locations with heat index values ranging from 100 to 105 today. Tropical depression eleven has also formed in the Central Atlantic Ocean and will continue to move westward for the next few days and strengthen into Tropical Storm Josephine later today or tomorrow.
