Local Artist Raising Money for Safehouse Ministries
Kate Scrivner, a local artist, spoke with Tyler Redmond to discuss how she came up with the idea of painting to raise money for Safehouse Ministries.
Safehouse is a local shelter for those that have struggled with addiction, homelessness, and even incarceration. Safehouse’s goal is to give these individuals a place to transition back into the community.
Also, Scrivner took this challenge up in a unique way, by painting sites from around town on an artist’s pallet.
