Troup County Head Coach Tanner Glisson Speaks Out On the Possibility of Not Playing High School Football in the Fall

TANNER GLISSON'S TWEET REGARDING HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GOES VIRAL

As reports over the weekend swirled around the potential cancellation of the college football season.

Troup County football head coach, Tanner Glisson sounded off on the issue via twitter.

“When I sent out the tweet, I just wanted to make sure we are being honest with people,” said Glisson. “People are still going to play travel ball, they’re still going to play AAU, they’re still going to go to mega camps like the one that was held in Atlanta this weekend that had over 400 participants… but now that we’re talking about football ‘oh no we have to cancel.'”

The GHSA currently plans on starting the season on September 4th.
