Hot, Little Rain on Friday

We’re stuck in the same weather pattern we’ve seen over the last few days with no changes expected today through Saturday with your basic summertime conditions remaining- hot and humid with afternoon showers possible. With moderate instability and the daytime heat, a strong thunderstorm or two could pop up each afternoon.

An old frontal boundary draped across the region will stay fairly stationary through the weekend before it moves northward. Running in behind it will be an uptick in moisture, so going with isolated showers and thunderstorms Sunday into early next week.

Daytime highs will range from the low to mid/upper 90s with heat indices climbing back into the triple digits. Overnight lows will be in the upper 60s to mid 70s.

Keep smiling!
