Hot and Mostly Dry Weekend

A couple of cold fronts will try to introduce some drier air for the weekend, so rain chances will run at about 20% Saturday and Sunday. Still, with the hot daytime temps, a stray isolated strong storm is not out of the question, but definitely nothing widespread. Gusty winds up to 40 mph, lightning and brief heavy rainfall could pop up.

Hurricane Isaías is forecasted to move up the east coast of Florida (perhaps making landfall along the way) Saturday and Sunday and then continue up the east coast. Our area could draw in some rain from Isaías, but those frontal boundaries will really help buffer us.

Expecting near seasonal highs and lows through the next 8 days with daytime temps in the low to mid 90s (although there could be some upper 80s early next week) and nighttime lows in the low to mid 70s.

Keep smiling!
