Scattered Showers and Isolated Thunderstorms Tuesday

Deep tropical moisture and some lift is expected to help keep skies cloudy over the next few days. With the ample moisture, we are likely to see scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms during the afternoon and early evening hours, too. The storms may be slow moving, so flooding could be a concern if rainfall persists.

The cloud cover and rain will also help keep daytime highs a bit below seasonal with temperatures topping out in the upper 80s, but the humidity will still make it feel like the mid 90s. Rain chances look to decrease over the weekend, so expect the daytime highs to get back to seasonal in the low to mid 90s.

Keeping an eye on a potential system developing way out in the Atlantic. Conditions appear to be favorable for this system to further develop, but it’s way too early to tell what the track or intensity will be.

Keep smiling!
